SHIPPING

UK

Shipping within the United Kingdom is free and will be sent via Royal Mail.  Delivery should be made within 5-7 business days.

EUROPE

Shipping to the EU and other European destinations costs £8.95, and will be sent via Royal Mail International.  Delivery should be made within 7-9 business days.  All deliveries outside of the UK will be under a DAP Incoterm, meaning that the customer is liable for all import duties and taxes (including VAT at the local rate).

REST OF WORLD

Shipping to the rest of the world costs £9.95, and will be sent via Royal Mail International.  Delivery should be made within 7-14 business days.  All deliveries outside of the UK will be under a DAP Incoterm, meaning that the customer is liable for all import duties and taxes (including VAT at the local rate).

Please do not send anything back to us without emailing first

I AM NOT HAPPY WITH MY ORDER AND WOULD LIKE A REFUND

If for any reason you are not happy with your purchase, please email returns@scrapcode.co.uk within 14 days of receiving your order to arrange a return.  

This email must clearly state the reason for the return and your order number (as found in your order confirmation email).  A response will be given with 14 days.

Return shipping (and any related export formalities if sent from outside the UK) must be arranged and paid for by the customer  – responsibility will not be taken by Scrapcode Modular for any item lost or damaged in shipping, so it is recommended that you use a tracked shipping method and take out the appropriate insurance.  

An inspection of the returned product will be made before any refund is confirmed.

As long as the order is returned in ‘as new’ condition, then a full refund will be given minus any postage and packaging costs incurred.  Any import duties or taxes for non-UK customers will not be refunded.

Please note that DIY Kits are not eligible for return once any form of assembly or modification has begun, unless they can be proven to have been delivered faulty or damaged.

MY ORDER HAS NOT BEEN DELIVERED

It is the customer’s responsibility to track their shipment using the tracking number provided by email when their order was shipped.  If your order has not arrived as expected, you must email returns@scrapcode.co.uk within 7 days of your expected delivery date including your order number (as found in your order confirmation email). 

If it has still not been delivered 14 days after the expected delivery date then a replacement will be sent at no extra cost to the customer.

Please note that any import duties or taxes for non-UK customers will not be refunded.

Failed deliveries which are returned to sender for any reason (including but not limited to a failure to organise/pay import duties/taxes, or failure to follow tracking information) will be refunded minus all postage and packaging costs so long as the shipment returns undamaged.

MY ITEM HAS BEEN DAMAGED IN TRANSIT

Please send photographic evidence to returns@scrapcode.co.uk within 3 days of receiving your order, including images of both the packaging and contents and your order number (as found in your order confirmation email).

A replacement of any damaged parts will be sent at no additional cost to the customer.  Please note that any import duties or taxes for non-UK customers will not be refunded.

SOMETHING IS MISSING FROM MY ORDER

If an item or items are missing from your order please email returns@scrapcode.co.uk withing 3 days of receiving your order, including a list of any missing parts and your order number (as found in your order confirmation email).

A replacement of any missing parts will be sent at no additional cost to the customer.  Please note that any import duties or taxes for non-UK customers will not be refunded.

SOMETHING IN MY ORDER IS FAULTY

All products are tested before they are shipped, so should be in perfect working order when they arrive. However, if you do believe you have received a faulty item, please email returns@scrapcode.co.uk within 3 days of receiving your order, explaining the problem and quoting your order number (as found in your order confirmation email).  Please provide photographic evidence if possible.  A response will be given with 14 days.

If only small components from a DIY kit are faulty or damaged then replacements will be sent at no additional cost to the customer.

If a complete module is thought to be faulty and cannot be remotely repaired, then return shipping (and any related export formalities if sent from outside the UK) must be arranged and paid for by the customer – responsibility will not be taken by Scrapcode Modular for any item lost or damaged in shipping, so it is recommended that you use a tracked shipping method and take out the appropriate insurance. 

If an inspection of the returned product proves it to be faulty then a replacement will be sent at no extra cost to the customer, and reasonable return postage and packing costs will be refunded.  If the unit is discovered to be in good working order then a refund will be given minus any postage and packaging costs incurred.  In either case, any import duties or taxes for non-UK customers will not be refunded.
